I'm tired of waking up in tears 'cause I can't put to bed these phobias and fears.

 Received a call from dad early in the morning when Jolene & I ordered Mac for breakfast & preparing to turn right after. He was so damn fucking lucky my phone wasn't on silent mode cse most of the time, it is, and no vibration so as to prevent disturbance from sleep.. He was in pain, but mum's out & his last resort was me... Didn't grab a single bite at all, prepared ourselves quickly & rushed out of granny's. Cabbed home to fetch dad & the stubborn him insisted & chose Gleneagles over NUH thinking private hosp would save him so much more time but..... In the end it was a wasted trip and pointless expenses made. I'm really unsatisfied with the way they attend to patients lor! Especially that philipino male nurse who served me -.-" Hi mdm, "Would you like to consult the ED or specialist?" ED as in = Emergency doctor. Seeked dad's opinion & he wanted a specialist. Look, this was what he replied when I told him we prefer to see a specialist. "Oh, just a reminder mdm, before consulting the specialist, you would have to consult the ED so we know which kind of specialist to see the patient" HELLO YOU MIGHT AS WELL DON'T ASK. Afterall, we'll still have to consult the ED before specialist why bother to ask then? Moron.. Registered dad, accompanied him to the doctor & confirmed it was the bone specialist we are supposed to see. (for corns) Doctors these days earn a lot huh? Just afew words within 5 mins, they earn $90 per patient without any treatment done. Education is indeed important... Waited half an hour for the specialist to reach & then pushed dad to the room. After consulting the specialist, was told that dad would be able to do the surgery immediately (which was what dad hoped for, at that point of time when the pain was unbearable) and it would cost us 6-8k including 1 day of hospitalization fee (non medisave claimable). Before dad's consent, the doctor reminded that dad would have to wait for 4hrs later in order for them to start the surgery he's supposed to carry an empty stomach into the operating theatre. Can see from dad's expression "WHAT THE FUCK! I CANT BEAR THE PAIN ANYMORE" so I asked for afew mins before proceeding. Made a call to NUH's Emergency hotline to check the waiting time and was told, 2 hours. Government's hospital, medisave claimable, waiting time shorter. WHY NOT? Only an idiot dumbfuck stupid ass would wait for the op @ Gleneagles. Also, a 10mins talk with the specialist cost us $200. Hahaha, so dad spent $300 wasting his time bearing with the pain there. Outcome of stubborness. Muahaha! Okay la, given such circumstances under that kind of situation if I were him I would've did the same. LOL!

After the whole hassle of travelling to & fro, we're back @ NUH.. Was already half-dead the moment I stepped out of home. Imagine, the unforgiving sun & I haven't caught a single wink at all.. Registered & paid the $100 upfront while waiting for dad's turn. Waited for more or less 30 - 40 mins before we sees the doctor. Was shocked when the doctor claimed dad could immediately remove the corn on his leg without empty tumz and the cost is already included in the upfront that we paid earlier on. Private hospital sibei ho tan~ Right, saved a lum sum of money.. Astonished when the doctor said the mini op takes only 20 mins. Thank god Hallehlujah! Mad drained..

Happy to see dad's relieved & painless face after everything's done. Queued for his medication & really put full attention while the doctor gave instructions. I've never been so attentive in school at all. LOL! Ok I admit I was worried & want a speedy recovery for dad.. Jolene took gr8 care of dad while I was busy doing the registrations, enquiries, and the collection of medication. I only realized that after dad apps me when we parted :x (it shows how i always neglect and take people for granted....) Dad asked "How much was the total cost of fee for the op?) while I was pushing him to the taxi stand. Replied in an instant "It's already paid, included in the $100 upfront" HE WAS SHOCKED! Then I jokingly said, "Aiya should've told you it cost $500, then I can keep in my pocket hor?" Hahaha! While waiting for cab, he passed $100 to me and of course I rejected as I was merely joking with him! What are daughters for if I did everything & expecting something in return?? Crazy, rejected & sent him back home before I went back to granny's with Jolene.. IT WAS A HARD DAY! Here, I would also like to really thank Jolene for always & almost every single time stretching out a warm pair of helping hand when I face any probs/difficulties. I really appreciate & am grateful to blessed with such a PERFECT friend even tho' I don't really know how to express & I don't honey coat my words all the time..
